We are Kansas City’s 1st Neighborhood Food Hall  ….  a cross between a food court in a mall (mall not included) and a small-town coffee shop …. neighborhood-sized (not super-sized). We are a work-in-progress guided by values of inclusivity, quality, and warm hospitality.

First up is the Borough Coffee Shop offering all sorts of coffee drinks (including drip) made with organic fair-trade beans, muffins, croissants and burritos for breakfast, and soon ....  salads, meatless and meat-filled specialty grilled sandwiches for lunch. Our menu will grow and change as we learn what you like to eat and as the seasons change.                               (Ice cream anyone?)

We’ll figure out in our opening weeks how to make that dang order-on-line system work flawlessly so you can pop-in and pop-out with a meal or enjoy eating alone or with others in a relaxing, welcoming, WI-FI enabled space.

Offerings from ‘localpreneurs,’ are available for you to support and their number will grow … art by neighborhood creatives, pop up events, and locally baked bread, just to mention a few things in the  hopper. The Borough is       available to rent for non-alcoholic small events with family and friends, meetings, yoga classes …. you know what you need space for …. on weekends and some weekend hours.

And the best is yet to come! Although the original plans for our kitchen vendors did not work out, we will be announcing two additional food options soon. Sign up for our email to be the first to know!
